Hello! My name is Mrs. Kelsey Costello. I look forward to being your child’s teacher for 5th grade. I hope to make a lasting impression on your child like my 5th grade teacher did to me (I still talk to her!). Let’s make learning fun and memorable!
Hello. My name is Steve Ganzer. I've been teaching since 2003 and have taught 2nd through 6th grade during that time. I live close to Pioneer with my 12 year old daughter, Daphne. I look forward to working with your child this year at Pioneer Elementary!
My name is Megan Barr, and this will be my 18th year in the classroom. I have also worked as an administrator, and also in a science museum, which was super cool. During non-work times, my husband, son, and I like to explore beaches, rivers, and lakes. We almost always take our dog, Bailey, with us. At home, I am enjoying reading, watching too much tv, and learning how to garden. I am super excited to join the staff of Pioneer School. Teaching is my passion and I look forward to meeting my students, creating a safe and welcoming classroom, and having some fun while learning. I believe in group work, focusing on *how* we know something, and celebrating successes. Stop by Room 23 and say hi!
My name is Rosemary Coolbear. I am excited to be one of the new 6th grade teachers at Pioneer. I just moved to the Sacramento area from Fresno where I taught 3rd grade. I have a 4-year-old daughter who will also be attending Pioneer this year. In my free time, my family likes to explore nature and travel.
My name is Mrs. Christensen or Mrs. C if you prefer. I joined the Twin Rivers family in 2014 and teach 5th and 6th grade SDC. I have my Master’s degree in Special Education, love Disney, and you can often find me reading when I have a little time to myself.
