Mr. and Mrs. Gross

Hello! My name is Mrs. Gross. I am excited to be a Panther and teaching at Pioneer School. I began my teaching career in 2006 and have taught both 5th and 6th grades. I love teaching and helping students learn new things each day. My goal as a teacher is to help my students achieve success academically while also building good character and working to become a productive and respectful member of society.

When I am not in my classroom working with students you can find me relaxing at home or doing things with my family and friends. I am married to my wonderful husband who stands by my side every step of the way. I love being outdoors and being active any time of year. A few activities that I enjoy include camping, spending time on our boat/kayaks, cruising our classic car, taking day trips and admiring the beautiful sights all around me.

I believe in the power of a strong and positive role model and strive each day to be the best human I can be.

My door is always open to students and families past, present or future!

Helllo! My name is Mrs. Rodgers. I am excited to be teaching 6th grade at Pioneer! I grew up in this area and attended Pioneer myself! I loved Pioneer when I was a kid and am happy to be back!

I have over 20 years of teaching experience that ranges from kindergarten through eighth grade. I have taught 6th grade for the past 5 years and enjoy working with this age group. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where every student is engaged and takes pride in their own learning and accomplishments!

When I’m not in the classroom I am usually busy taking care of my own family. I have been married to my husband, Mark, for 23 years. We have a daughter, Samantha, who is 20 years old and a son, Tyler, who is 17 years old. As a family we enjoy boating, camping, sports, and going on vacation!

I hope to make this a memorable year for every student and am looking forward to the 2019-2020 school year!
